A close study of the situation reveals the fact that a major part of the difficulties in the cold heading of bolts and similar items themselves. the less care is applied in building such a machine, the greater are the difficulties. Far decades we have been striving to over come these `growing pains, cf the cold heading machines.

KARAM Double Stroke Cold Headers are horizontal machines with Crank drive, movement of which is transmitted to the main slide and control shaft. The slide is triple guided.

The design of the heading slide is particularly mobile and carry two holders punches, one for coneing and the other for finishing.

Coneing and finishing punches, as well as dies can be accurately adjusted at easily accessible point. Nearly all essencial adjusting arrangements can be manually operated.

The machine is equipped with vertical wire straightening rolls designed for the processing of long bolts. The wire intake, throwout, cut-off and feed machanisms have been considerable simplified.
